Annual paid leave entitlement arises once you've worked at least one uninterrupted year from your start date (including the probation period). You have no right to request annual leave before the first year is complete; however your employer may grant unpaid or excuse leave voluntarily.
Annual leave granted to employees under 18 or over 50 must be at least 20 days, even if the period calculated based on seniority is less than 20 days. If you enter your age, this tool applies that rule automatically.
