Frequently Asked Questions

schema.org is a shared vocabulary that helps search engines understand page content better. JSON-LD is the most common way to add this information to your page via a <script type="application/ld+json"> tag, without disrupting the HTML.

Simply copy the generated <script> block as-is and paste it into your page's <head> or <body>. You can then verify it with the Google Rich Results Test.

Google limited FAQ rich results (the expandable Q&A box in the SERP) in August 2023 and removed them entirely for all sites in May 2026. The FAQPage schema is still valid and search engines continue to read it to understand your content, but it no longer produces a special visual element (rich result) in the SERP. Article, Product, and LocalBusiness are still active rich result types.
