If a line can't be parsed as a number, it's treated as 0 and may end up near the start or end of the list depending on the direction you chose. For the most accurate results, make sure all lines contain numbers.

This only applies to the alphabetical (A→Z / Z→A) modes; when checked, "Apple" and "apple" are treated as equal for sorting purposes. It has no effect on numeric, length, reverse or shuffle modes.

Yes — sorting follows Turkish alphabet rules (ç, ğ, ı, ö, ş, ü are placed in their correct positions), not just plain ASCII order.
